Authorizes the attorney general to approve state land acquisitions for conservation and accept title insurance.

This bill amends the environmental conservation law, parks, recreation and historic preservation law, and executive law to authorize the attorney general to approve certain state land acquisitions made for land conservation purposes. It allows the attorney general to accept a title policy from a commercial insurer to cover any title defects that would otherwise render the title unmarketable. The title to acquired real property will be vested in the people of the state of New York.
