This bill prohibits the use of restraints and force on incarcerated individuals during labor and those who have experienced different pregnancy outcomes, except in extraordinary circumstances. It also prohibits the use of force on pregnant and post-pregnancy individuals during custodial interrogation. If restraints are necessary, they must be limited to wrist restraints in front of the body. Correctional personnel must document the use of restraints and force, excluding personally identifiable information.
