Amends the social services law to include services by certified recovery peer advocates and certain inpatient services in standard coverage.

The bill amends the social services law to include services provided by certified recovery peer advocates and certain services provided at inpatient facilities as part of standard coverage. These services must be provided by programs certified, licensed, or authorized by the office of addiction services and supports. The changes apply to services provided in compliance with applicable provisions of the public health law, mental hygiene law, and other relevant laws. The act takes effect immediately.
