New York S01087 amends the election law to require that each board outside the city of New York consist of two election commissioners who are full-time employees of such board. The county legislative body of a county with a population over 120,000 may increase the number of commissioners to four. Each major political party is eligible to recommend an equal number of commissioners. This act takes effect immediately.
