This bill amends the New York City Charter to allow the Department of Sanitation to serve notice of violations of title sixteen of the administrative code on closed commercial establishments. The notice can be affixed to a conspicuous place on the premises where the violation occurred and mailed via first-class mail to the commercial establishment's address. Service by first-class mail is deemed complete upon mailing.
