Establishes the crime of voyeurism in the first and second degree in New York.

New York S00524 amends the penal law by adding two new sections, 250.51 and 250.52, to establish the crime of voyeurism in the first and second degree. Voyeurism in the second degree occurs when someone trespasses or uses an instrument to observe a person dressing or undressing, or viewing their sexual or other intimate parts, at a place and time when the person has a reasonable expectation of privacy, without their knowledge or consent. This act is for the person's own amusement, entertainment, profit, sexual arousal, sexual gratification, or for the purpose of degrading or abusing a person.
