The bill establishes a full year youth employment immersion pilot program for eligible youths and young adults aged 16-24. The Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance will establish the program in three local social services districts, including one in New York City. Eligible participants must be economically disadvantaged state residents who are not currently employed. The program will provide up to 25% of participant time for education and employment readiness, and at least 75% of time for paid employment.
