Allows master's of social work degree applicants in their final semester to take the master's level examination.
Enacts the "Social Worker Initiative for Faster Testing (SWIFT) act" to amend the education law. It allows applicants pursuing a master's of social work degree who are enrolled in the final semester of a program registered by the department of education or an accredited or in candidacy for accreditation by the council on social work education to take the master's level examination. However, passing the examination does not authorize the applicant to practice social work or entitle them to licensure until all other requirements, including graduation, are fulfilled.
