Extends the deadline for reducing class sizes in large city school districts.

This bill amends the education law to extend the deadline for reducing class sizes in city school districts with populations of one million or more. The new deadline is September 2030 for all classes except physical education and performing groups. Kindergarten through third grade classes will have no more than 20 students, fourth through eighth grade classes will have no more than 23 students, and high school classes will have no more than 25 students. Physical education and performing groups will have no more than 40 students.
