Authorizes Clarkstown, Rockland County, to lease parklands to Homeland Towers, LLC for a cellular tower.
This bill authorizes the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County to lease certain lands used as parklands to Homeland Towers, LLC for the installation of a cellular tower. The lease term cannot exceed thirty-six years. All proceeds from the lease will be used for capital improvements to existing park and recreational facilities or for the acquisition of additional park and recreational facilities. Should the lands cease to be used for the described purposes, the lease will terminate, and the lands will revert to the town for public park and recreational purposes.
