This bill amends existing law to allow health care professionals licensed in other jurisdictions to provide services in New York for events sanctioned by the New York Road Runners. Affected professionals include physicians, physician assistants, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, dentists, optometrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, athletic trainers, and podiatrists. These professionals must be in good standing in their licensing jurisdiction and appointed by the New York Road Runners.
