This bill amends the education law to expand collaborative drug therapy management by pharmacists. It makes permanent certain provisions relating to authorizing pharmacists to perform collaborative drug therapy management with physicians in certain settings. The bill specifies that collaborative drug therapy management is not to be utilized unless the patient or their authorized representative consents, in writing, to such management.
