This bill authorizes Simcray Holdings, LLC. to receive retroactive real property tax exempt status for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 assessment rolls and all of the 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 school taxes. The assessor of Rockland County is authorized to accept an application for exemption from real property taxes if satisfied that the organization would otherwise be entitled to such exemption. If granted, the organization may receive refunds for any taxes paid and have any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, interest, or tax liens canceled.
