The bill establishes parity in reimbursement rates for the first twenty-four hours of supportive stabilization services provided that are substantially equivalent to crisis stabilization center services. This means that providers of such services will receive the same compensation as crisis stabilization centers for the initial twenty-four hours. The commissioner of addiction services and supports is tasked with promulgating all necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of this act, which shall take effect immediately.
