Extends the notice period for parties in major utility transmission facility siting proceedings from 30 to 45 days.

This bill amends the public service law to increase the time certain parties have to submit a notice of intent to be a party to the certification proceedings for the siting of major utility transmission facilities. The current 30-day notice period is extended to 45 days. This change applies to municipalities, domestic non-profit corporations, associations, and individuals who have filed a notice of intent to be a party. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
