Authorizes retail licensees to purchase alcohol with a business payment card.
New York A11140 amends the alcoholic beverage control law to authorize retail licensees to purchase alcohol using a business payment card. This card must be issued in the licensee's name and registered to the same address as the retail license. The card must not benefit a manufacturer or wholesaler financially. Manufacturers and wholesalers accepting such cards must clearly state the final cash invoice amount and the final business payment card invoice amount on invoices provided to retail licensees. The retail licensee bears the cost of the transaction to mitigate secondary benefits.
