Permits out-of-state massage therapists to participate in certain continuing education programs.
This bill amends the education law to allow massage therapists licensed and in good standing in another state or country to participate in certain continuing education programs. These therapists must be under the on-site supervision of a licensed or authorized massage therapist. They must also comply with the provisions, rules, and regulations of the board of regents and the commissioner. The act will take effect one year after it becomes law.
