This bill amends the education law to allow school districts to provide child care services on school grounds during school and non-school hours. The services are for pupils attending the schools of the district, employees of the district, and children ages three and four needing assistance due to insufficient child care spaces. The cost of such care is to be paid by the person responsible for the support of the child, the local social services district, or any other public or private voluntary source.
