This bill allows the city of New York to sell certain lands now or formerly under the waters of Whale Creek, also known as Wyckoff Creek, and formerly a tributary of Newtown Creek. The sale is subject to an independent appraisal and must be conducted without competitive bidding. The proceeds from the sale must be used for waterfront property acquisition or capital improvements. The authorization is effective immediately and lasts for five years.
