Prohibits metered parking on certain streets in New York City based on residential dwelling percentage.

This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to prohibit the city of New York from placing parking meters on streets with between fifty and seventy-five percent residential dwellings. A "residential dwelling" is defined as any building or structure used as a home residence or sleeping place, excluding mixed-use properties where the ground floor is primarily commercial. The act takes effect immediately.
