New York A10866 authorizes the city of New York to discontinue certain parkland in Queens and transfer it to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The parkland, located in Queens, will be used to enable the New York City Transit Authority to construct a new permanent at-grade and subsurface signal tower facility and track crossover. The authorization is subject to the city dedicating an amount equal to or greater than the fair market value of the parklands towards the acquisition of new parklands and/or capital improvements to existing parklands and recreational facilities within Queens.
