New York Assembly Bill A10823 amends the education law to increase the number of athletic trainers a physician can supervise from four to six. This change does not apply to athletic trainers practicing in secondary schools or institutions of postsecondary education under the supervision of a physician who serves as the medical director for such school or institution. The act takes effect immediately.
