This bill amends the town law to require that polls for special town elections open on otherwise scheduled general election days, as designated by the state board of elections. The town board must adopt a resolution at least twenty days before the election, specifying the hours of opening and closing the polls, the place or places of holding the election, and all propositions to be voted upon. The town clerk must publish and post a notice of the election at least ten days prior to the election.
