This bill amends the village law and public officers law to change residency requirements for the village clerk, deputy village clerk, village treasurer, and deputy village treasurer of Washingtonville, New York. These officials need not be residents of Washingtonville, but must reside in Orange County or an adjoining county within New York. The bill takes effect immediately.
