Expands the veterans' services commission to include two additional members and several additional ex officio members.
The bill amends the veterans' services law to expand the veterans' services commission. It increases the number of appointed members from thirteen to fifteen, including two appointed on recommendation of the temporary president of the senate, one appointed on recommendation of the minority leader of the senate, two appointed on recommendation of the speaker of the assembly, and one appointed on recommendation of the minority leader of the assembly. The bill also adds several ex officio members, including the adjutant general, the commissioner of health, and others.
