New York A08915 amends the vehicle and traffic law to remove the requirement of a disability for family members for the issuance of additional disabled person plates to family members of a severely disabled person. The commissioner shall issue two sets of plates for each additional vehicle used by such severely disabled person or by family members of the severely disabled person to transport the severely disabled person. This act shall take effect immediately.
