This bill amends the town law to allow planning boards to require funds in lieu of land for parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities. The funds must be used for the acquisition of property, improvement, expansion, repair, replacement, design, construction, management, and general maintenance of parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities. The funds are to be deposited into a trust fund for exclusive use in park, playground, and recreational purposes.
