Establishes a 22.5-year retirement program for NYC Emergency Medical Technicians.

The bill establishes a 22.5-year retirement program for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) in New York City. EMT members can elect to participate in this program by filing an application within 180 days of becoming an EMT. Participants contribute an additional 6.5% of their compensation. Retirement benefits are calculated based on 50% of final average salary for the first 22.5 years of service and 2% for each additional year up to 27.5 years. The program does not include cost-of-living adjustments.
