Authorizes Michael J. Cappiello to purchase service credit for his time with the Long Island Railroad Company police department.

This bill allows Michael J. Cappiello to buy up to three years of service credit for his employment with the Long Island Railroad Company police department before its merger with the MTA and the state retirement system. The state of New York will cover $86,100 of the $100,000 cost, with Cappiello paying the remaining $13,900. The purchase will not affect Suffolk County's annual contributions.
