Authorizes Susan Gillinder to file a new retirement application for her deceased husband, Robert C.

This bill allows Susan Gillinder, the widow of Robert C. Ritchie, to file a new service retirement application and an option election form on behalf of her deceased husband with the New York state and local employees' retirement system. The date of retirement will be deemed to be August 15, 2016. Any ordinary death benefit paid prior to the filing of a new service retirement application will be deducted from the benefits payable under this legislation. The state of New York will bear any additional costs associated with this act.
