This bill amends the agriculture and markets law to prohibit sellers from misrepresenting or collecting certain fees related to the delivery, usage, and storage of liquified petroleum. Specifically, it prohibits fees that exceed the cost of labor for removing a tank, pumping out or restocking gas, or terminating service. It also prohibits fees for gas not delivered, undisclosed fees related to service termination, tank rental fees after disconnection, and repair fees for equipment malfunctions not caused by the consumer.
