Extends the statute of limitations for prosecuting sex offenses against children to 15 years after the victim turns 18.

This bill amends the criminal procedure law to extend the period for prosecuting sex offenses committed against children. It allows such actions to be commenced within 15 years after the child has reached the age of 18. The change applies to offenses committed on and after the effective date of the act, as well as to offenses committed prior to that date, unless the prosecution was already barred under previous law.
