Enacts the "student voter empowerment act" to increase student voter registration and participation.
The "student voter empowerment act" requires each institution of higher education to designate a student voting coordinator. This coordinator must develop and implement a student voting action plan to increase student voter registration and voting and democratic participation among students. The action plan must include a minimum of three election outreach events per academic year, a webpage for voter education, and support for student organizations engaged in activities to increase voter registration and voting.
