This includes actions such as the subdivision of rooms, erection or demolition of walls, or moving windows in violation of state or local laws. The bill also covers occupancy or use of dwelling units in a class A multiple dwelling that would violate the multiple dwelling law. The changes will take effect 90 days after the bill becomes law.
