Exempts certain group policies, contracts, and certificates from filing and approval requirements.
Amends the insurance law to exempt certain group policies, group contracts, and certificates issued thereunder from filing and approval requirements. Specifies that the superintendent cannot disapprove these exempt forms but can issue a cease and desist order if they are contrary to requirements or inconsistent with law. Defines "large group policyholder" and "qualified benefits manager." Requires insurers and fraternal benefit societies to file annually with the superintendent a list of policy forms issued for delivery outside the state.
