This bill amends the executive law to ensure that all code enforcement personnel receive compensation for required training at a rate set by the secretary of state. The compensation rate must not be less than the personnel's regular rate of pay or any rate specified in a collective bargaining agreement. The act takes effect 90 days after becoming law.
