This bill extends the effectiveness of certain water charges for hospitals and charities in New York City from September 1, 2026 until September 1, 2028. The charges were initially established by chapter 890 of the laws of 1982 and were most recently amended by chapter 247 of the laws of 2024. The bill amends section 2 of chapter 890 to reflect the extended period.
