The bill authorizes the village of New Berlin to discontinue the use of certain parklands and sell them to Good Shepherd Communities for constructing a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The sale must occur at fair market value and only after the village complies with federal requirements for parkland alienation. The village must also dedicate an amount equal to or greater than the fair market value of the parklands being discontinued towards acquiring new parklands.
