This bill amends the agriculture and markets law to require the division of weights and measures to inspect meters and other apparatus used for regulating and supplying gas or electricity. The inspections must verify that such apparatus are properly maintained and calibrated. The inspections must occur at least annually and can be conducted either personally or through authorized agents. The division must keep a record of these inspections.
