The bill enacts the "licensure incentives and fee-support for testing (LIFT) act" to establish a program providing vouchers to low-income individuals for the cost of the examination required for licensure as a licensed master social worker or licensed clinical social worker. To be eligible, applicants must be residents of the state, eligible to sit for the exam, and demonstrate income at or below a threshold set by the department. The department will create rules and regulations to implement the program.
