Establishes standards for New York native plants and creates a designation for native plants in New York.

This bill directs the department of agriculture and markets, in cooperation with the department of environmental conservation, to establish standards for designation of native plants. It requires the development of a list of native plants that differentiates between those indigenous to New York and those from elsewhere in the U.S. likely to expand their range into New York. The bill also mandates the creation of a New York native plant designation and the offering of seals or logos for native plants grown in New York.
