New York S08362 amends the law to extend the expiration of certain provisions relating to applied behavioral analysis. It ensures that individuals employed or retained by programs regulated by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, the Office of Children and Family Services, or the Office of Mental Health can perform the duties of a licensed behavior analyst or a certified behavior analyst assistant. The act takes effect immediately and will be repealed on July 1, 2030.
