Extends the expiration of provisions allowing trustees of Southampton, East Hampton, and Southold to receive land from Suffolk County.
This bill extends the expiration of provisions relating to the trustees of the Freeholders and Commonalty of the towns of Southampton, East Hampton, and Southold. It allows these trustees to be considered municipal corporations for the purpose of receiving land at no cost from Suffolk County. The act takes effect immediately but will expire on July 31, 2027.
