This bill directs the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority to implement a toll discount plan for residents of Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, and Putnam counties who commute to work in New York City. Qualifying commuters receive a 25% discount on tolls for the first ten trips per month and a 50% discount on all subsequent trips in the same month. A minimum of ten trips per month is required; fewer trips result in charges for the unmet trips. Commuters must enroll in the program to receive the discount. The plan expires upon the cessation of the central business district tolling program.
