Extends provisions for real property transfer to the town of Huntington for one year.
This bill amends sections 4 and 5 of chapter 431 of the laws of 2018, extending the time frame for the state commissioner of transportation to convey real property to the town of Huntington. The land description in section two of this act shall not be granted unless the town of Huntington applies for it within eight years after the effective date of this act. If improvements are not made by the town within this period, the land reverts to the state. This act takes effect immediately.
