Eliminates the requirement of suspending driver's licenses, professional licenses, or recreational licenses for failing to pay child support.

This bill amends various sections of the domestic relations law, family court act, vehicle and traffic law, and other laws to eliminate the requirement that driver's licenses, professional licenses, or recreational licenses be suspended for failing to pay child support. It repeals certain provisions of the insurance law related to this requirement. The bill specifies that courts may still order the suspension of such licenses if the respondent has accumulated support arrears equivalent to or greater than the amount of support due for a period of four months.
