This bill allows Christopher Collins to be eligible to take the civil service exam for the position of police officer with the Saugerties police department. If he passes the exam, he will be eligible for appointment as a full-time police officer in Saugerties, Ulster County. He will also be subject to the merit and fitness provisions of the civil service law applicable to full-time deputy sheriffs. The act takes effect immediately.
