New York S07325 amends the state finance law to ensure that no less than 2% of all state competitive grants for water quality infrastructure projects are awarded to municipalities located in the Adirondack park and Catskill park. This includes grants awarded under title nine of article fifty-eight of the environmental conservation law and under the clean water infrastructure act of 2017, as amended. The term "water quality infrastructure project" includes sewage treatment works, eligible projects, stormwater collecting systems, and septic systems. This act takes effect immediately.
