This bill amends the administrative code of New York City to mandate that the Department of Housing Preservation and Development must contact complainants to verify that heat and hot water services have been restored before concluding an investigation into a violation. The department cannot consider the matter resolved until it has made contact with the complainant to confirm the restoration of the applicable service. This act shall take effect immediately.
