This bill amends the insurance law to require every insurance policy in New York providing major medical or similar comprehensive-type coverage to include a section on enrollment, renewal, or initial online forms for enrollees to register or decline registration in the Donate Life Registry. This requirement applies to all forms except those issued by the NY State of Health, the official Health Plan Marketplace. The form must clearly state, "You must fill out the following section: Would you like to be added to the Donate Life Registry? Check box for 'yes' or 'skip this question.
